  1. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

Yes, especially when you are happy with the C48 in your profile the NUZN 50 might offer you even more performance, stability and precision and it will not be more difficult to play despite the harder sponge. But like I said, I only posted my first impressions and I currently do not have any...
  2. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

A few impressions of NUZN 50 after roughly two hours of practice over two evenings. To me the rubber is somewhere in between C53 and R53. The "hybrid" feeling in touch game (reduced catapult) is present, but it is easier to accelerate this rubber than other hybrids I tried. I have no current...

Like I wrote above, the distinction between extremely grippy and slightly sticky is hard for me. Where´s the line? Sometimes it feels like the discussion if a blade is "still" ALL+ or "already" OFF-, and people getting really heated about it. So better wait for someone who dares make the point...

Yes, but in the case of NUZN the foil itself is sticky and would stick to any rubber. Maybe it´s a nuance in the small margin between extremely grippy and slightly sticky, but my expertise on that is questionable ;-)

Once I´ve tried it a few times, sure.
  6. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

Probably a little more to the C Rasanter side, but I´ve often seen the discussions about what is sticky and what is tacky and how people disagree. I tried to lift up a ball when I´d just removed the plastic protective foil that comes with it, and it didn´t stick to the rubber.

Who knows anymore... With the first hybrids, it was all tacky topsheet and "tensor" sponge (as to emulate Chinese rubber with booster...) Nowadays it is about "Chinese" pimple structure and rubbers are called hybrid without being tacky, and some non-tacky rubbers have Hybrid in their name.
  8. Andro Nuzn 50 and 55

If that happens to be true the price might be relatively fair. At least reports from users of other hybrid rubbers who say detoriation sets in as early as after a week of playing surely make this a property to be inspected. Bear in mind that the questions still are "do i need such rubber for my...
  9. Hybrid MK FX

    Yes.
  10. Xiom Vega series

Yes. Never on pro level - where there was no substitute ;-) But it still offers a pretty similar feel for around half the price, and what the t05 offers more in top-level performance can not be activated by many amateur players anyway.
  11. Nittaku Genextion is out

Yeah. Yet when they do those who have stuck to their older generation stuff are very disappointed. I´ve hunted down JOOLA Rhyzm and x-Plode long after they´ve been discontinued for a player who can´t just imagine to use others unless he´s really forced to. But even DONIC, keeper of a myriad of...
  12. What's your opinion on the Tibhar Quantum X Pro/Pro soft?

Yes. Not a "heavy spin" rubber, but very solid for good placement.
  13. Xiom Vega series

Actually, Vega Pro is closely related to Tibhar Genius and Fastarc G1, they all have their individual specs based on the same recipe. DONIC´s rubber of that time or "generation" was Baracuda. Later additions to the Vega series might resemble other rubbers, although generally it is no longer...
  14. Are the ESN differently colored sponges (green, purple, red etc.) actually meaningfully different?

I agree. I think when the whole Tensor thing started you often wouldn´t be able to tell your brand A rubber from brand B. Over time, the variations became bigger and bigger, so when people say "rubber X from A is rubber Y from B" just because the sponge hardness is identical they might still be...
