  1. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

I noticed a huge difference between H3 42 star and 40 national BS. 42 has much more elastic topsheet and it is easy to land the ball onto the table. But it lacks quality brushing only with topsheet. 42's sponge is much harder when you try to hit through the ball. 42 requires more opened bat...
  2. DHS hurricane neo 2 or neo 3?

A bit off topic. I want a slow but very spinny tacky rubber. I find H3 good but demanding and a bit too "fast". So I guess G666 is an option. A long ago I tried it and it was dead but crazy spinny. So what about now? I've heard the DHS reduced tackiness. If all of their rubbers aren't tacky...
  3. clothing from aliexpress

On Ali there are pretty good t-shirts at least. I have 3 "butterflys" and they are of high quality. I have some Yu-Yu-Fan t-shirts they are even better and were even cheaper. You should rely on the reviews. I see the shop sells "Tibhar", "Andro", "Xiom" and "Joola" t-shirts. Of course they are...
  4. Video Footage Safe Thread

Hello dear forum members! Recently I kinda remade my bh and went to the tournament. Here is a video of me playing(I'm in the black shoes). Some aspects I noticed: 1)I almost don't move to the ball and I almost always do BH opening to the FH(I win the point but it's kinda not on my own) . I...
  5. Is D09c bad for brush-looping?

I don't really know how that works. I think you should open your bat angle. D09c has more elastic topsheet than even the DG so for high quality ball it requires the sponge usage. I have Battle 2 Gold and Blue. Both of them have hard topsheet. So I really have to brush. And there is crazy amount...
  6. butterfly flextra

Hardbat is delightful too and pretty oldschool. 😉
  7. Are the ESN differently colored sponges (green, purple, red etc.) actually meaningfully different?

I don't have any sources but as for me I don't find any difference in feel between for example Bluefire M1 and Xiom Vega Pro. Of course different manufacturers make a bit different sponges(mainly on hardness) but it's not like H3s BS and OS. So I suppose it's just marketing. Like Andro's color...
  8. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

FangBo might be harder. But I haven't tried it. DHS Long is the same speed as Stuor but harder and firmer so it better suits with hard Chinese rubbers. Soft rubbers(under 39 DHS) play well on Stuor
  9. Best Chinese Alternatives to D05 Tier List

I think this thread should be named " Best Chinese BH rubbers(for me) Tier List. Because all the rubbers mentioned are not even close in feel and characteristics to D05. Even ESN and Daiki can't make an alternative. I agree M12, AK47, Aurora Max are great for BH but they are really different...
  10. Sanwei target national new version

Yes it has. With Mantra H, Jupiter 3, Bloom Arc, H3 I can powerloop with arc while with the same movement with STN the ball drops into the net. So I had to adjust and brush really properly. Other than that, it's a very good rubber. Powerful sponge, more lively than H3 Prov Blue, easy to achieve...
  11. Moon 12 Blue on sale!

I read your post and decided to reglue my M+ to the carbon 729 Blue Arylate blade. I felt Moon 12 was toooo balanced and decided to glue J3 37 on BH. But now I got that with Jupiter I land onto the table only open-ups🤣. Thank you for the reminder I will try M12 again!
  12. What's this cheap glue?

The effect is gone after 3 hours but is better to wait 2 days to get the voc fully evaporated Water based glue damages the blade but the VOC glue doesn't. It may damage a very proned rubber with large pores in sponge, Rakza 9 for example. I glued Stiga Mantra H with speedglue, it feels OK...
  13. Aliexpress Anniversary Sale 2024

Does anybody knows something about this new 729 blade? 729 Blue ADvance https://sl.aliexpress.com/p?key=VvvvOJ 729 Blue ALC is like Viscaria so Blue AD might be like Viscaria Super ALC? Oops, the link doesn't work but you can find the blade on Ali
  14. fixing the bad habit of straightening the upper body during looping

I think big belly makes you lean forward. It's heavy, it's in front of the body => more weight forward. The main is not to fall forward on your face😁 But if you have a big butt...
