  1. Saudi Smash 2024

After FZD retires WCQ and LSD will compete head to head. LSD has incredible feel and a very versatile playstyle.
  2. Saudi Smash 2024

The Swedes mens double played amazingly. If Kellberg plays consistently they have a chance of beating ML/WCQ.
  3. Got me a 1 ply kiso-hinoki jpen

I forgot to mention I played my 10.5mm Darker Speed 90. The best rubber was Gewo 43 (can’t remember the exact model). I found that soft rubber compensate for the lack of flexibility of the blade. And the control is just amazing
  4. How well would Ma Lin do in these modern times?

He will still beat me 11:0 with his big belly 🤣🤣
  5. Ma Long will not play 2024 Olympic singles

    Will ML play mens double?
  6. Got me a 1 ply kiso-hinoki jpen

Most offensive Jpen comes with 10mm or 10.5mm. Yours is 9mm which will give you even better feeling. If you just play for fun I would suggest soft spinny rubber such as T05, R7, Vega Pro, Nittaku C1 etc
  7. Eli Ho - Child Prodigy of Long Pips OX

Like many kids, he improved so fast with daily training. I used to beat him 3-0 easily, now I could barely get 5 points in a set. From memory his Jpen is a Taiwanese special made. His dad showed me after they returned from Taiwan. I believe it's single-ply Taiwanese hinoki. He used to play...
  8. Eli Ho - Child Prodigy of Long Pips OX

Small world!! I used to play in the same club with Eli and his dad. Waikato TT it was
  9. a

Nittaku and Butterfly I have to say my newer W968 (2022) is much better built than my older one (~2019??). No splinter at all. Smooth as hell
  10. How long do one ply hinoki wood JPEN blades last?

My 2000s Darker Speed 90 is still holding up nicely
  11. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Thank you for the insight. As someone with a science degree I appreciate your explanation which makes sense 👍👍
  12. World Cup 2024

How many noticed the change of ML's attitude in the last two matches? To me ML seemed more relaxed, playing wiser and deployed more tactics rather than power. At times he was a even a bit playful. It had worked out really really well though!! 4:0 against WCQ 0:3 then caught 4 games to beat...
  13. A range of new DHS blades - including Q968 and S968

    Sorry it doesn’t say.
  14. A range of new DHS blades - including Q968 and S968

Every time. It’s absorbed by the blade very well and doesn’t leave any rubbery residue on it
  15. A range of new DHS blades - including Q968 and S968

Good news, review on HL 5A (first outer ALC), 6.19mm thickness. In summary, a very linear HL5 but spinner than other outer ALC blades. It has almost an identical feel to Butterfly Lin Gaoyuan ALC
  16. A range of new DHS blades - including Q968 and S968

I used the expensive Nittaku blade seal for my provincial W968. It kept on splintering until I read a post which says VOC glue has sealing effect. So I put 2 layers of VOC on my 968. Not a single splint ever since. Strong adhesion but much easier to peel rubber off than water Yes it comes off...
  17. A range of new DHS blades - including Q968 and S968

    Use VOC glue!!
  18. A range of new DHS blades - including Q968 and S968

You won't be disappointed. The review of H Wang Chuqin is consistent in most Chinese reviews
  19. A range of new DHS blades - including Q968 and S968

This review compares the acB to HL5. There’s another review about the regular Hurricane Wang Chuqin. It’s got bad QC, harder than HL5 and BH oriented.
  20. A range of new DHS blades - including Q968 and S968

I just read a review in Chinese. They compare it to the good old HL5 Small stroke: Speed (especially BH): acB>HL5 Crisp: acB>HL5 Trajectory: acB>HL5 Power loop: Catapult: acB < HL5 Spin: acB < HL5 Power: acB < HL5 They said the QC is much better with acB. It's another well-rounded inner ALC...
