  3. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Rxton 3 Pro , even though on the packet it gives the hardness as A40, I feel it is as soft as the H3 37 and handles as nice. P.S. It is only sold black.
  4. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

My answer is : " YES " . 😂😂😂 I try to test every new rubber on what I call my """Standard blade""". It is some home made Inner layer ALC (just carbon /kevlar) and I can't even remember what wood veneers are on it , other than probably the outer being obechi, which i had left from sheeting...
  5. What is the best setup for 200$

You can only be helped if you post a video of you playing. Then the real experts here in the forum will be able to suggest a setup that matches your skills. Everything else would be a waste of time.
  6. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Yep, I found R9 to be an awkward rubber and now use the "El-cheapo" Rxton 3PRO. It's got the blue sponge, no need to boost, good control and feel and my balls now land on the table, not 2meters beyond.
  7. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

If you can,and have two identical blades, could you try the Rxton 3 Pro and compare it with the H3 pro please. It only cost a tenner, also features blue sponge . 🤣
  8. Is there a way to fix the top ply or stop it from splintering? (Photos attached)

If available , a sheet of mylar instead of the layers of paper is preferable. I clamp it between 2 pieces of mdf. When the glue has dried the mylar just peels off. Nothing sticks to mylar, not even epoxy.
  9. is it a grip issue?

possible, possible 😂 It can also happen when there is high humidity , then grip simply disappears.
  10. Dignics 09c longevity

this all started with you claiming: I personally disagree. Right now, I have LAC, D09c, and Dragon Grip glued on """"""3 separate blades."""""" I find them extremely comparable. If I'm just being totally honest, I actually prefer LAC as I feel the arc is better. Now you claim to have all...

He is legit. He is friendly, an excellent communicator and will go the extra mile to help you get what you want.
  12. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

Just an update, I applied 1 layer of seamoon to a red Rozena piece and glued it onto a blade next to a standard piece. 1) the sponge did not turn into mush, actually there is hardly any difference in the feel of the rubber. 2) The bounce on the boosted rubber piece increased quite...
  13. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

Absolutely. It is the same also with blades. Why insist buying and playing with $ 350 blades when we find that a nicely made $35 blade suits us better and we are more comfortable with it.
  14. Lessons I Learned in Shanghai about Boosting and Equipment in General

BTW, do you also boost your Rozena ? I got a set recently and dismissed it as "uneventful".
  15. Forgetting form during games

very good advise and it reminds me of a video of a sport psychologist that stated that one should approach a training session exactly the same as a tournament final.
  16. Sweaty Hands :(

A bit messy and of course chalk ends up on the ball and quick you will be disqualified 😂
  17. Why does the vast majority of top pros use ALC instead of ZLC?

Japanese people are very, shall we say, "fashion-conscious". When some " new" model comes out on the market with of course the usual hypes and promises , then they """MUST""" have it . 🤣
  18. clothing from aliexpress

I got a few of the t-shirts and polo shirts and I buy them as a kind of "novelty'. Durability is therefore not my concern but they do last surprisingly long time.
