It looks like she's using a custom blade with a red Nittaku Tribus (Carbon) handle.

So, you mean Liu Shiwen ZLF? ZLF means, No Carbon. ZLC would be Zylon and Carbon. Liu Shiwen ZLF is very similar to the old InnerForce ZLF. A little different. Same ply construction. Different size head and different thickness.

Any update on this? Seems like she is not using her personalized blade from Nittaku (Hina Hayata H2)

She's using H2 but like custom. Different handle n stuff. Makes it easier for them to modify it to her needs.

It's plausible that it's an H2 with a custom handle, but they can't make a custom handle with the same color scheme as her signature blade?

It's like Zhang Jike situation again, never used his personalized any of the Zhang Jike blades from Butterfly. Seems strange
