  1. Nittaku Genextion is out

First impressions after system training with it: - very controlled in the short game. Pretty much as controlled as Rakza Z, even though Genextion is not sticky at all. Only rubbers that are even more lifeless on passive pushes are K3 and Vega Pro H. The later one only by a small margin. - very...
  2. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Looking back at the situation, of course i could have simply be quicker to get into position and hit the ball early. Perhaps the Rakza Z made me lazy, because i was able to loop the balls over the net even when hitting them too late (basically next to me instead of inside the golden triangle)...
  3. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

yes, that is what i would do with the Rakza Z and it's tacky surface would help lift the ball with the slightest of contacts. With the the K3 though it is basically much harder, because for brush looping i have to activate the rubber, but not the sponge which basically leaves around 1,7mm of...
  4. FS: brand new OSP Virtuoso+

On the one hand I am very tempted, on the other hand I just sold two blades and still got too many reserve blades. I'll need some time to think about it.
  5. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

that does totally make sense and explains my experiences with the blade in combination with the K3 and the Rakza Z. While the mid-power shots are not strong enough to activate the K3 sponge, hence perhaps dropping into the net (due to the lack of support of the w968), when i use the Rakza Z, the...
  6. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

i had tried to use the K3 as my main forehand rubber for the last few weeks it felt quite nice. The short game was exceptional. Far away from the table it was also very good. The few half-distance/far distance power loops i did with it were really nice and mostly direct points, but reviewing my...
  7. FS: brand new OSP Virtuoso+

Thank you for your reply. Since it is brand new i guess you never played with it, so it is probably pointless to have you compare it in terms of speed to other 5-ply or innerforce blades.
  8. FS: brand new OSP Virtuoso+

Would you be sending it from Lithuania ?
  9. Nittaku Genextion is out

the official price in germany is 59€. i think that should be ok for a new "top dog" rubber from Nittaku.
  10. Nittaku Genextion is out

According to their ratings this rubber compares like this to the older ones Hammond z2 : spin 13.0 speed 16.0 G-1: spin 12.5 speed 15.0 Genextion: spin 13.5 speed 16.5
  11. Nittaku Genextion is out

Damn, i thought i could settle on my equipment, but unfortunately Nittakus latest rubber is now available on tabletennis11.com https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/nittaku-genextion I guess it's time to setup my second blade with it.
  12. Should we forgive such a serve?

I think you can. Did you see the glasses of the opponent fly away? An enemy not able to see can't continue and will forfeit
  13. Should we forgive such a serve?

Tossing the ball too low will not allow much spin to be generated, so the only advantage they got from it is higher consistency, since this makes hitting the ball way easier. There is pretty much only one way to answer this serve with a special serve by your own:
  14. DHS H3 vs Yasaka Rakza Z

I have switched to K3 on the forehand in the meanwhile, but still took your advice to hit through the incoming topspin ball. This leads to an issue though: the old technique with a very closed bat would lead me to "outspinning" the opponent so that his shot or block would go wide. Now with the...
  15. DHS H3 vs Yasaka Rakza Z

Rakza Z is notnsimilar to Rozena in the slightest, but it is way more grippy, even tacky and will last longer.
  16. How to judge ball length?

Don't do big swinging ever. If it is long and slow it is easy to hit the ball with a short stroke as well. If it is long and fast you will not have enough time to do a big backswing neither. So what is left ? Half-Long balls that bounce on the middle of your table side can be looped or flipped...
  17. Xiom Vega Pro H

Just no. Hybrid M can be faster than Vega Pro H and Hybrid H is definitely faster. What is good with the Hybrid H is, that it is very controlled in the short game and you don't accidently activate the catapult of the sponge if you don't want to. Hybrid M has less spin then the vega Pro h
  18. transfer training into competition

how long does he actually play table tennis for ?
  19. Xiom Vega Pro H

The name is wrong. It is called "Xiom Vega Pro H" and even though it is saying "china hybrid" on the packaging it is NOT really remotely playing like a tacky chinese rubber with a tensor sponge. It is a more controlled/slow Vega Pro with slight tackiness. That is all about it. It is worlds apart...
  20. Want to improve need Feedback!

I don't know, but perhaps you should ask professional high jumpers how efficient it is. They only jump off of one leg, probably because they don't want to jump too high, right ;)
