Overall if the ball goes into the net, it means that you don’t provide enough up and forward power for it to go over the net. There are many reasons for it. If the ball is dropping already and you try hitting it, it will go into the net.

Will Cybershape carbon pair well with G1/C1, or Xiom Vega X on both side or backhand? I use D09C/DNA P H, right now, and they are good. But these rubbers are used from a regular blade face. So I will try to fit it with another two rubbers that are not too expensive or I can buy directly from TT11.

Viscaria super alc is quite different from Viscaria/FZD alc. It can grasp the ball better and has better feel and support. For $30 more, I think it is quite worth it.

How about Ovtcharov alc? Is it square/rectangular?

The Freitas alc has a round st blade that I am not that fond of.

Rectangular st handle is my favorite. I know bty jun mizutani, Timo boll series have rectangular st handles, primorac carbon as well. What other blades have similar st handle?

Looks good to start with. But still hitting ball a little too far away from your body. Before hitting or looping, still no back swing of your hand back to your body. Back swing is the key for better timing, consistence, and power for your backhand and forehand as well. It is a key to higher level.

Just realize why I felt so tired after play this afternoon. I used a golden hl5 the whole afternoon. It requires much more effort than my JM zlc.

W968+d09c +d05 (both with one layer of Kailin oil) is good.

Who would recommend primorac carbon as the best blade for a beginner? If you really want a fast blade, maybe a jun mizutani zlc or a Viscaria super alc?

I was really impressed with all the good advice in this thread. indeed, you just need to be a bit patient on building your body back. It seems it is not your tt skill disappear, but your body needs more time.

Really great progress. Forehand is pretty decent. But the backhand looks a bit awkward. Unless you spend some time on refining your backhand, maybe try using pips on the backhand?

May I ask what is the motivation to boosting dignics with 3 layers of haifu oil? One thin layer of FCL on a used D05 is about right for me. One thin layer of FCL on D09C actually makes it feel a bit mushy
