Hi Table Tennis friends in Tokyo,

Creating post in behalf of my son,
Who studies in Soka University as exchange student.
He is currently one of ranked players in Senior National Team in Philippines.
Is anyone interested for Play buddy? (for practice or just for sweating out)

There is a club near his place called MARUZEN Takkyu Center in Hachioji...
There are several good players in the club on Saturdays 7pm-9:15pm in which he plays...
If you are interested to see, PM me and I can arrange your meet up with him.
In case you are near by and has suggestion for a venue to play, please let me know

Thank you and Take care.

I'm in Tokyo now and have been to a few table tennis meetups here. I haven't seen anyone that is anywhere close to national team level, however. Most playeres are anywhere from absolute beginners to intermediate at most. But if he comes to a meetup and maybe one of the Japanese intermediate players here can can tell him where the advanced players are at.

There are usually events on the weekend, including tomorrow. If you want more information feel free to message me.

hi i'm in Tokyo, but i live in Central Tokyo (near JR Tamachi station)

Hachioji is quite far from the center (it takes 1h30 for me to get there)
i do know Maruzen is a very good club in this area.

there is a very good venue near Keio Hazama station called Esforta Arena. I know there are some very good players going there (one of my team mates used to play there but he's moved since). I've played a couple tournaments there as well.

He should check the timetable there.

Hi turbozed,
Thank you for the invite.
Where is the venue by the way?
Maybe he can try to visit sometime if he is available.

Hi Takkyu,
Thank you for the information.
Hope my son could meet you maybe in Minatoku Sports Center one of these days.
Thanks!
