Interesting that Martin Allegro is also using the W968 with a blue sponged black rubber on the FH side, presumably a H3BS. Luckily for him he got an excellent 15 min lesson on how to use it properly this tournament. :ROFLMAO:

Good fight by pavade, WYD really did not want to become the next choker of China. Tho, Pavade’s shouts between points must be very annoying to the opponents
Although Hirano at last year's Singapore Smash preceded Hayata's win, I think the high profile nature of Hayata beating WYD at the World Championships opened up the flood gates to her Japanese compatriots beating WYD. And now with Pavade within a hair of beating WYD, it seems even non-Japanese players are joining the fray. This can become a problem at WTT Champions events where there is a 4 player per nation limit, and one of the 4 pillars is rather susceptible to loss from non CNT. We'll see how it all plays out this year.

One advantage of Table Tennis being such a dead sport in the UK, because nobody bothers to buy up the TV rights, we can watch all the top matches for free on YouTube! 😎
Legions upon legions of EJ(s) are propping up the profit margin. Relax, don't worry.
